 Kippford View is deliberately small and cleanly laid out. Everything on park is close to hand, and the village of of Palnackie, with its friendly pub, well-stocked shop and award-winning community café is a short walk away. From the park, a short walk takes you into Palnackie village. A short drive south opens up Kippford, Rockcliffe, Sandyhills and miles of Solway coastline. Dalbeattie Forest is the other way, with 7stanes trails and forest walks within easy reach.
